Blizzard asks players about the future of WoW Classic

updated November 3, 2022

The future of WoW Classic is starting to raise questions, especially in the gaming community. Blizzard is obviously working on the sequel to Cataclysm Classic, and there are several indications that the team is already working on it.

Blizzard is wondering what choice to make.

What do you want for the future of WoW Classic?

However, Blizzard is trying to figure out the best way to deal with the situation. In a post on the Community Council forum, Bornakk addresses the issue and asks users what they would like to see after the Lich King’s death.

Some of you have already mentioned it, but we would like to know what you want most from the defeat of the Lich King. From the discussions in this thread so far, there seem to be two general directions:

If Wrath is a bit of a stopping point for you, what would make you most want to play WoW Classic in the future (Seasons, New Beginnings, or whatever interests you).
Do you find the possibility of continuing to Cataclysm exciting? If so, are there any more changes you’d like to see? If not, are there any changes that you would be excited about?
Note that these questions are not exhaustive, so if you have anything to add, please feel free to do so. We look forward to hearing from you!
